Alex, the filmmaker and video editor behind Houndstooth Films, is based in Portugal and films weddings across Europe. After the past seven years filming in Australia, Alex is now booking weddings throughout Europe.

Filming weddings has been my constant. The wedding filming world has held me, it has been parallel to growing up as an adult as I started filming weddings at 22 years old.

What I give back to the wedding world is my personality and style. Just like moving through life you relaise what you do and don't like, with my wedding filming and editing I know what I love. 

I love diving into my couples stories and working their weddings into a film as if it were through the lens of wedding guests. I look for quirks, I look for the in between emotions, I look for the gentle wind blowing through your flower arrangement. I love film being real and I don't try and polish it into a production, I weave your day into something that is visually and emotionally inviting.
