MY EXPERIENCE
I have a habit of getting carried away on wedding dance floors and inside my own head when my directive ideas start running through my mind. I zoom in on your mothers tears during the ceremony and I’m dancing in the circle with your friends at midnight. I'm covered in sweat and champagne. I don’t just turn up to your wedding with my cameras, I show up as myself. A person that your friends will say “hey your videographer Alex, she was super fun”
I have filmed weddings in many different corners of this world. Different languages, cultures, different energies but the feeling I take in is always familiar, the feeling of your style. Elegant or chaotic. Quiet or wild. If the wedding is sentimental or full of laughter I put my houndstooth style into what I see and what I feel. I pair your moments with songs that make my eyes glued to my screen with excitement and when I edit my hips groove with the rhythm your day offers me. What a cool job I have.

Seeing and feeling creative vision when I show up at your wedding venue and seeing these extravagant worlds which my couples have made amazes me. At weddings I meet people who quickly feel like old friends and I’m experiencing new scenery and feelings that shape my creative mind.
